The 878 Squadron Silent Auction is now ONLINE. We have paired with Mobilbid, a Canadian-based online auction platform that does not require a special app on your mobile device to use. Simply visit the mobile-friendly website by clicking the link and entering your contact details to view our auction items. Bidders can use different features, including auto-bidding or adding out-bid notifications. We will communicate with our patrons using the contact details provided. We do require a valid credit card to bid on items, which will automatically be billed if you are successful at the conclusion of the event.
Guest Registration
Guests use their personal smartphones to text a phone number that sends a custom link inviting them to register and access the auction.
There is no confusing native app to download.
Mobile Bidding
Unlike conventional silent auctions, guests don’t jostle to place bids. They use their phones to place bids and receive outbid alerts from anywhere.
A max bid allows the system bid automatically.
Express Payment
At close, MobilBid begins sending invoices to winning bidders with a prompt for mobile payment. This generates a receipt used to claim items.
