The 878 Banff / Canmore Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron is raffling off a signed 2016 Ski Tour Canada Leader’s Bib
Own a genuine piece of international winter sports history with this autographed Number 1 leader’s bib from the 2016 Ski Tour Canada. This historic event served as the dramatic, multi-stage finale to the 2015–2016 FIS Cross-Country World Cup season, bringing the absolute elite of the skiing world to compete on Canadian soil across Gatineau, Montreal, Quebec City, and Canmore.
Because this is a coveted Number 1 bib, the athletes purposefully signed around the outer edges to preserve the iconic main logo and number, making it an incredible display piece for any sports enthusiast or mountain home.
A Time Capsule of Canadian Cross-Country Royalty:
This bib functions as a rolling roster of the legendary Canadian National Team and top international competitors from that exact 2016 tour. Prominent, verifiable signatures on this bib include:
Dahria Beatty: Multi-time Canadian Olympian who achieved a breakthrough top-15 finish during this exact 2016 tour right here in Canmore.
Alex Harvey: Look closely near the bottom right for the “A.H…” flourish of Canada’s absolute cross-country superstar, world champion, and the official poster boy of the 2016 Tour.
Ivan Babikov: Signed “Ivan” with a quick loop near the upper left, marking the twilight of this legendary Canadian veteran’s World Cup racing career.
Katherine Stewart-Jones & Olivia Bouffard-Nesbitt: Both 2022 Canadian Olympians who raced hard in this home tour, signed clearly as “Katherine M” and “Olivia BN.”
Cendrine Browne: The prominent two-time Canadian Olympian’s cursive script (“Cendrine B…”) is visible on the left side.
Emily Nishikawa & Maya MacIsaac-Jones: Two of Canada’s leading female racers of the era, leaving their marks on the lower sections of the bib.

The **878 Banff-Canmore Royal Canadian Air Cadets** are hosting a **50/50 Draw** in conjunction with our fall recruiting and fundraising events. Every ticket purchased directly funds the incredible, life-changing programs offered to local youth completely free of charge.
